Allen Deng

Allen came to Eve from fintech at a major technology company, driven by a conviction that AI's value is migrating from raw model capability to the application layer — and that legal is where it lands first. At Eve, he works across product and engineering on Case Communications, giving Eve's AI agents the ability to contact the external world: shaping the product strategy, outcome taxonomies, and agent architecture behind it.

He's also the creator of WALL-E, Eve's internal AI engineering agent, which he built and has evolved into a working member of the engineering team — an ongoing experiment in what an AI-native engineering organization looks like from the inside, from scoping work an agent can own end-to-end to designing the feedback loops that make it better every week.

On the platform side, Allen focuses on what makes production AI dependable: model inference reliability, fallback routing across providers, and full-fidelity observability into every model call.
