"Eve is my genius companion to consult and say, 'Hey Eve, I have a motor vehicle accident case. I'm deposing John Smith. Analyze the file, tell me what I need to know.' That would have taken me hours."

For nearly two decades, Chris Earley has been fighting insurance companies from his Boston-based personal injury firm. But every case came with the same grind: hours buried in medical records, tedious document prep, too many hands in the pot. When he found Eve, the grind stopped getting in the way.

Chris Earley built the Earley Law Group around a single question: how do we best serve the client? But in personal injury, the answer gets buried in thousands of pages of documents.

Then Earley found what he calls his “genius companion”, Eve.

"Eve is able to tell me what my eyes don't see," Earley says. "In thirty seconds, Eve can give me what I'm dealing with — as opposed to spending six hours looking through medical records and wanting to stab my eyes with a pen. Eve takes that off of my plate."

The Boston-based personal injury firm has spent nearly two decades fighting insurance companies, recovering more than $6 million for clients last year alone. So when the firm ramped up on Eve, the use cases came fast: medical chronologies, demand letters, case valuation, deposition preparation, argument development.

"Just a smorgasbord of value," Earley says. "Now casework is streamlined and our rate of production is incredibly accelerated."

Quicker Turnaround, More Firepower

The speed shows up across the entire case lifecycle. Demand letters that once consumed hours now take 10 to 15 minutes. Medical records that would’ve required hours to review can surface insights in seconds.

The firm doesn't just use Eve to prepare for proceedings. It brings Eve into the room.

"I was taking a deposition and could ask Eve in real time, 'This is what the witness is saying. What should I look out for? Where does my questioning go?'" Earley recalls. "I could spend a hundred hours preparing for that deposition. I wouldn't have done it nearly as well as Eve did."

Those time savings are building real case velocity. The firm's average case length across pre-suit and litigation is about 14 months. Since adopting Eve, Earley estimates they're shaving up to two months off that timeline.

"I can see a reduction in our time on desk — from intake to disbursement, A to Z, those bookends are getting narrower," Earley adds. "And it's just getting faster and faster."

The output itself is better too. Demands are stronger. Motions are more thorough. And arguments the team might have overlooked are now surfaced automatically.

"The demands and motions are fuller, more robust," Earley explains. "Eve is teasing out of all these documents the core of the apple, what we really care about knowing to help our clients."

Equipping the Team, Scaling the Firm

Part of Earley’s mission is to also create the happiest team in the country. "My care, as the entrepreneur, is having my team equipped," he says.

Pre-Eve, that was easier said than done. The team was grinding through what he calls "bloat" — too many hands in the pot, too much tedious labor across every case.

"Team members love to have nice tools they can take advantage of," Earley says. "I love the fact that my team is leaning more and more into Eve. It's a better experience for them. They can be less stressed out."

Earley also makes sure to put Eve to the test. "It always surprises me how capable Eve is," Earley says. "I'll sometimes try to almost deceive it, and it picks up on it every time. There's nothing it can't do."

The more the team leans in, the smarter Eve gets, learning their workflows and compounding in value over time. That adoption loop is also changing the math on growth. "It's nice to do more work faster at a higher level and need fewer people," he says. "That's really attractive for me as a business owner."

Best Work, Every Day

Ask Earley what all the newfound speed, firepower, and leaner operation adds up to, and he goes back to his north star: how do we best serve the client?

"They're getting better results in a shorter time," Earley says. “We're building a special firm here. And Eve fits very nicely into our big grand vision of just doing our best work every single day for our clients."

At the Earley Law Group, the bloat is gone, the bookends are narrowing, and the north star is clearer than ever. All it took was a genius companion.
