With our October 2025 release, Eve continues to evolve into a system that makes casework both faster to execute and easier to oversee. Here is what is new and how to use it.

Eve Agent

In the coming days, Agent will become the default experience when asking Eve for help in a matter. It gives Eve the ability to tackle tougher work, zero in on the right facts, while making its reasoning transparent. This change will help deliver faster, clearer, and more comprehensive answers that are easy to review and act on.

How it works:

• Ask complex legal or fact-specific questions where deeper evaluation is needed
• Optionally, Inspect specific reasoning paths before relying on them

Additional details:
• Reasoning mode remains available in a dropdown
• Agent will not backfill older playbooks automatically yet

Agent raises confidence in the work product without changing how teams already interact with Eve.

Central Library

Firms can now create collections of shared files that are accessible across every matter. These are typically resources the firm already uses repeatedly: prior deposition transcripts, expert materials, jury instructions, sample arguments, brief banks, and statutes.

Eve Central Library

Why this matters:
• Work product gains value when it is reused rather than hidden in old files
• Attorneys can quickly cite established knowledge rather than rebuild context from scratch

Additional details:
• Firm Admins manage structure and file curation
• All users can reference library documents during drafting, chat, and multi-step workflows
• Files remain clearly distinguished from matter-specific sources in review

This is a foundation for scalable, repeatable quality across your litigation work.

Actionable Insights - Missing Bills & Records

Eve now flags visits that are missing either a bill or a medical record. These callouts appear immediately after the Medical Overview runs and update each time it is re-run.

Eve Missing Bills and Records

Why this matters:
• Gaps are historically discovered too late in the process, often during demand drafting
• Reconciling missing documentation becomes expensive and stressful under deadline

Additional details:
• Alerts are visible on the matter home and inside the Visits timeline
• Filters help isolate missing records for a specific provider

This supports earlier and more complete evidence gathering so damages remain well supported throughout negotiation.

Ledger inclusion and exclusion

Users can now remove duplicate or irrelevant bills directly within Eve. Damages totals update instantly.

When this is especially useful
• Medical Overview picks up a facility fee for a visit that was already billed by the provider
• Intake information results in a placeholder visit that later proves unrelated

Large PDF support

Documents up to 10,000 pages now upload and are split automatically so teams can work with them right away. This prevents delays when large medical productions arrive.

Export upgrades

Exporting from chat and the Medical Overview produces cleaner Word documents with an option to include sources and citations. This means, less manual formatting work is required to share materials with others.

Arriving next week for Firm Admins
In-product billing

Clear visibility into invoice history gives firms a better sense of their current runway and future needs. Expected rollout: November 6.

Usage dashboard

Matter creation and user activity data help firms understand where work is happening and whether capacity is aligned in the right places.
